Ron Hardesty

Ron received his B.S. Degree from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1982. He spent a few years in agricultural/farming before getting his Property and Casualty license and the Life and Health license in 1984. In 1984, he began with Golden Rule, and moved on to selling property and casualty insurance with American Family Insurance as a direct writer. In 1991, he decided it was time to become an Independent Agent so he could choose companies who would be competitively priced and write the types of business the local clientele needed. Ron is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC). He is comfortable and confident in the insurance environment and is ready to discuss any insurance-related topic you need. Other organizations Ron is involved include, the Bloomington Community Band, Highland Faith Assembly of God Church, the Oliver Collector's Club, the Ellettsville Chamber of Commerce.
Rita Hardesty
Owner
Rita received her B.A. Degree from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1982. She worked for Indiana University from 1982 unti 1991. She obtained her Property and Casualty license in 1991 and began working at Hardesty Insurance, first as support staff, and now Agent/Owner. Being a risk manager is a rewarding career as she works to help people make safe, sound judgments in their insurance (financial) decisions. Other organizations: Member of Highland Faith Assembly of God.
